Need for Speed: The Run DLC release date revealed

The first Need for Speed: The Run downloadable content pack has been detailed by developer EA with nine new cars to be added on December 20th.

The latest edition to EA's action packed driving franchise is in line for an update with the first Need for Speed: The Run DLC detailed ahead of launch.

The bevy of additional content to be added in the 'signature' DLC will see the latest addition to the Need for Speed family add nine heavily modified cars to its already bountiful roster of vehicles.


Confirmed to be heading to both the Xbox 360 andPS3 iterations of the racing release on the same day, developer EA has handed a December 20th Need for Speed: The Run Signature DLC release date to the forthcoming update.

A Need for Speed: The Run DLC price has yet to be officially confirmed by EA with the additional content expected to be similarly priced across the two leading consoles.


Revealing the line-up of explosive vehicles that are set to land in the Signature DLC EA confirmed the new selection of motors will be headed by the 'Venom' Nissan 370Z and include the 'Fatlace' Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R, 'Scoundrel' Subaru WRX STi and the 'Victory' BMW M3 Sport Evolution.

The nine strong contingent of new additions is completed by the 'Conroy' Ford GT, 'Puppet' Chevy El Camino, 'Nicholas' Mazda RX-7, 'Mega' Nissan GT-R and the 'Falken' Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0.
